Summer Meal Planner

It's time for me to update my Meal planner list. I feel like I'm in a rut and can't seem to find any good summer meals. So....if you don't mind please post some of your favorite summer dinner dishes. That way we can "all" share. :)

I am also going to start planning out my weekly dinners. I haven't done this in a long time and know it really cuts down on my budget and helps me stay organized and save time.

And lastly if you have any coupon tips or neat site, post also!

So Kate Moss once said, "Nothing taste as good as skinny feels" So true, except for a 14 inch vegi pizza, a nice 6oz steak with sauteed mushrooms or a piece of peanut butter pie.

Although I have not been allowing myself to eat these items, doesn't mean I haven't been dreaming about them.

Knowing that you are going on vacation in less than 30 days really makes you think about what you should and shouldn't eat.

I would really like to loose those last 8 lbs before vacation....although probably not realistic. lol.

I wake up hungry and go to bed hungry. I watch my husband devour items like cake, chips, dip, and cookies without blinking an eye. Oh yea, I get mad at him And guess what, he looks wonderful in his bathing suit.

Maybe that's because he didn't have back to back pregnancies, maybe that's because his stomach wasn't stretch like a beach ball. And maybe because he has some good "Hollenbeck" genes.

Anyway, I actually feel good about eating right and exercising. I like getting on the scale and seeing a lower number. I like trying on my work pants and realizing I need a belt or even better need to buy a smaller size. But darn it, I just would like to eat all the "bad" stuff too. Oh well sacrifices right.

Side note, my husband thinks I look great. Sometimes I wish I could just see me through his eyes. He's excited for us to go on vacation so that kind of makes it all worth it. He's sweet and good to me. And that's why I love him. :)
