New old Tupperware

I got a few new Tupperware pieces this weekend and I was super excited. Let me tell you why I treated myself though. Danny has a bad habit of not bringing his lunch containers back. Well after a while I don't have anything to put his lunch in so I decided to be a good wife and give him 2 of my Tupperware containers only if he promised to bring it back. Well he eventually brought it back, with moldy food it it! Disgusting!!!! I could not get that moldy smell out of 2 so I told him he was going to buy me more!

My mom and Ken go to an Antique flea market in Cincinnati that always has tons of Tupperware. My mom sent me a text with the ones she thought I would like. So now I have 2 soup bowls and 3 shallow bowls. I have never seen the shallow bowls and really only had orange Tupperware so now I have a more colorful selection. It makes me happy! I think Danny and I are going to make a trip over there so I can check it out myself.

I have learned my lesson though, no more Mrs. Nice Wife, if you can't bring your lunch containers back then your lunch is going into a plastic baggie! lol He said he didn't care! And he probably doesn't but at least my prize Tupperware pieces are looking good in my cabinet! lol

Memorial Day Weekend

I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing Memorial Day weekend. I know we did. We spent all of Sunday and Monday outside soaking up the beautiful sun. On Sunday we went over to my BFF's house and had a cookout and watched the kids swim. It was just a little too cold for the grown-ups. Although Danny did manage to get in, only after he couldn't feel his body b/c the water was too cold. lol

My girls are really starting to enjoy the water and had a good time playing with their friend.

Gracie played on the stairs while her friend swam in the pool

They decided it would be fun to load up their rides with mulch from the non sand box area!

I think she is safe enough!
Lilly liked sitting in the car because she couldn't drive it. She also got 8 splinters ~not fun!

We also played in the sprinkler a lot. And by playing I mean Gracie tries to to get wet while "playing" in the sprinkler.

Lilly doesn't mind getting wet!

Do You Cook?

Hello everyone. I have a few questions I need to ask and hope you don't mind answering a few.

1. Do you cook dinner most week nights?

2. Is your menu preplanned for the week or before you go grocery shopping?

3. Do you enjoy cooking?

4. What would make it more enjoyable?

5. Would you attend a 3 part cooking class?

6. would you pay $25 for it?

Just something I have been thinking of. There are so many women and men that do not know how to cook or are afraid to. I would like to share my love and talent to others! I will let you know how it goes. I have also been contemplating writing my own cookbook but that's a whole other task! Thank you for answering my questions. And by no means are your answers a contract, just fun for me! lol Feel free to add in additional comments that might be helpful. Thank you!

My anniversary weekend

So I had a wonderful anniversary weekend. We basically had it all to ourselves and did fun things like go to a movie, go to dinner, go to Starbucks and actually sit down and relax. It was a wonderful weekend. It was also fun for the girls because each day that got to spend time with each set of grandparents ( 3) so a big thank you to them for making all that possible. Even though we both had to work we still managed to have a great time together.

For dinner Danny and I ate at Red Lobster. Although we usually go to a much fancier place like Ruth Chris, Flemming's or the Melting Pot we diced for RL. We don't go out to eat a lot b/c we just don't have the extra money in our budget so we don't get o go to Red Lobster a lot. You are probably thinking to yourself, well RL isn't all that expensive Bree. Well when you are like me and get Lobster tail, snow crab legs, and 2 kinds of shrimp, Yea it kind of is! lol

Honestly the food was so good that each and every bit Danny took he literally said "mmm". While I was busy cracking open the snow crab legs I noticed this and it started getting on my nerves. Did he really need to keep saying "mmm" after every bite? Well apparently I was also saying the same thing when I was eating but just didn't even realize it b/c i was so involved in my food. But don't worry Danny did point it out to me.

Afterwards we went to Starbucks. They have the cutest and yummiest mini desserts? Have you tried them? ( p.s. I don't recommend the cake pops on a stick, you will be disappointed) Danny got the mini peanut butter chocolate cupcake and I got the lemon square. I think they were only like a $1.80 a piece.

On Sunday our Pastor even had a good message about family and marriage. I thought it was a perfect ending to a perfect weekend.

Tired of misplacing your keys?

I am always loosing my keys, I bet I wouldn't if I had this nifty board.

funny things said....

I only have three but they were really funny. Also how come I can never remember anything funny I say? oh well I am sure other's do.

Gracie asked her Papaw if she could sit on his Harley, he said no, she then replied, " I promise I won't start it!"

Danny for some reason had his basketball shorts pulled over his belly button. I asked him why he was looking like Urkel and he replied very seriously , " this is my natural waistline." I laughed and snorted so hard I almost peed my pants. He is goofy.

Danny is in the BBQ mood and has been looking up recipes on how to make your own bbq sauce, how to smoke your meat and such. So a couple of days ago he found a recipe for a Dr. Pepper bbq sauce that he wanted to make. So of course I helped him get it all ready but he did do most of it. And afterwards he said to me that he really like "cooking" and that he would like to do it more. I just laughed b/c I think we all know how that will go. And secondly that wasn't cooking that was throwing some ingredients into a blender and mixing them up. But hey who am I to discourage him wanting to help out in the kitchen! Best of luck to you Danny.

May 21st 2005

Saturday Danny and I will celebrate 6 years of marriage. I have always wanted to be a wife and a mother but after being married for 6 years and two beautiful children I just can't believe it. Maybe it's b/c I feel so young inside or maybe it's b/c time has flown by. It's fun to look back at the day we got married and to see our lives progess and to watch our 2 children grow up. I was so naive and really didn't know what to expect.

Here we are 6 years latter with a lot to show for it. Although he is now 30 and I am just a couple of years away from the Big 30 we still feel so young in side. We still feel like we just graduated high school and sometimes act like it! lol

But after 6 years I am still so happy. I love him more than I could ever imagine. We have some fun things planned for the weekend and just really excited to spend time together alone. Happy Anniversary babe! I love you.

Soccer Wrap up

Our Soccer Season has ended and Gracie finished strong. We were a little nervous because she did a lot of daisy picking but she then started to play hard and started chasing that ball.

Look at that awesome corner kick!

She loved that she always got snacks and drinks after the game.

And here is her Number 1 Fan, her little sister Lilly. Who would often run onto the field to play in the big "tent" aka the Goal. ( Lilly is being a little camera shy)

This is one of my favorite pics. We had an awesome coach who was wonderful with all the kids. He always told the kids that the most important thing was to have fun. Well coming from two competitive people like Danny and me, that meant a lot. Gracie really took a liking to him and here she is leaning on him. Too cute.

Another awesome kick!

Here she is with her last treat. A Chocolate bunny.

And here she is with her trophy, it's actually more of a plaque but she is was so thrilled she got a trophy. She was afraid that she wouldn't get one b/c she didn't score enough goals. Oh the mind of a 4 year old. She scored plenty of goals ( especially for the other team hehe)

Doesn't she look happy? We call this the Chandler smile. Get it?

Great Job Princess. Mommy and Daddy and all of your fans are so proud of you. Thank you to everyone who came to her games or wished her well.
